Artist Bio: Eric Picard

I’ve been making visual art my whole life, but more often than not I default to photography. I studied photography under Bart Parker, a great American Photographer, at the University of Rhode Island where I received my BA in Studio Art. I then went on to the University of Cincinnati where I received my Master of Fine Arts in Photography and Digital Media. I studied photography there with Jane Alden Stevens and Jerry Stratton, and digital media with Ben Britton.

My art is based on exploration of the real world, physical spaces, fake spaces, forms and shapes, people, mythology, and often attempts to convey a sense of wonder and whimsy.
